London’s Highest Free View: Horizon 22’s New Ticket Release Schedule

London’s highest free viewing gallery, Horizon 22, has made a significant change to its ticket release schedule. But here’s where it gets controversial…

Previously, tickets were released daily at 10 am, offering a mix of available slots for visitors. This system could be hit-or-miss, as it relied on a daily raffle to secure your preferred date. While you could simply turn up and hope for the best, it was a risky approach, especially if you had planned a special visit.

To make planning more reliable, Horizon 22 has switched to a Monday ticket release system. From now on, tickets will be available at 10 am every Monday, for visits 14 days in advance. This means you can plan your visit with greater certainty, knowing that your preferred date is more likely to be available.

While Horizon 22 is free to visit, if you’re determined to visit on a ‘sold out’ Saturday, there’s now an option to have brunch in one of the restaurants, which includes a visit to Horizon 22. Brunch at the Market Kitchen costs £27.50 and can be booked here: https://horizon22.co.uk/italian-bottomless-brunch.

For those feeling adventurous, there are also two Gordon Ramsay restaurants: High (a name that seems to refer to the menu prices) and Lucky Cat, offering more affordable dining options. And this is the part most people miss…

So, what do you think? Do you think this new ticket release system will make planning your visit to Horizon 22 easier? Or do you think it could lead to more people missing out on the experience? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
